Today, Global Fuel Supply is changing its name to Blue Energy Partners. What started as a fuel trader has grown into a broader energy solution business, covering physical supply, marine energy trading, alternative fuels and environmental solutions.

Global Fuel Supply, together with Blue Energy Partners, today announced the official opening of their South African office in Cape Town. This expansion is a key step in the group’s growth across Africa, strengthening its support for maritime and offshore energy operations in the region.

Until now, GFS has operated through chartered tonnage, including the RLO Explorer. Ownership of a dedicated tanker enhances operational control and flexibility, supporting the company’s long-term commitment to the bunker and marine energy markets, particularly in West Africa, where GFS already has a well-established presence and active physical bunkering operations.

Global Fuel Supply (GFS) has set forth its new strategy for growth and is entering a new chapter with the launch of Blue Energy Partners, with a new office in Oslo, Norway.
